About Anatomy
Anatomy Films started with my continued love for all photography, especially film photography. But not because I’m a “hipster”. As a NYC photographer who started with film and went to digital in the early 2000’s, I’ve always been more comfortable with film and its’ unique outcome. While it was mostly created to share the works of film photographers, past and present, and extoll the virtues and abilities of those old workhorse cameras of the past, it’s not to denigrate digital photography in any way. It’s more to learn about old techniques, expand knowledge, (like “Crop Factor”), and be inspired by some of the greats of the past who were required to “shoot less, and produce more”. Whether you shoot film or digital. Or both.
In the end this site is dedicated to the latest analog photography films, camera reviews, (or opinions), and general analog knowledge. And keep film alive and our fellow “crazy” analog mavens inspired.

We’re always on the lookout for contributors to share stories or reviews with the readers. So if you have a “film” or “film camera” story, (or ‘How-To’), just hit me up at “Submissions” at the top or bottom of the page.
While our audience is relatively small in numbers, as are film photographers, I like to think of them as unique and very special.
